Theindonesiatoday.com - PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (RUIS) acquires mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) worth of US$40 million from its Dubai-based partner, Global Process Systems.
Investor Daily reported today that the facility will be rented to Santos to work out the gas project in Maleo Block (Giligenting), Madura.
The company stated the acquisition was funded by bank loans (80%), and internal cash (20%).
With the acquisition, RUIS revised its net profit expectation for this year from Rp26 billion to Rp33 billion.
The MOPU contract is worth of US$97.8 million and will ended in 2017.
Previously, the company had booked new contracts of Rp500 billion as of May 2011 for East Kalimantan and East Java PSCs. The contracts were mainly for fleet management, operating support services, inspection services and dredging services. (ferdi@theindonesiatoday.com)
