BP Berau Supports Tangguh Drilling Program

Theindonesiatoday.com - BP Berau Ltd. invites big scale company to participate in tender process for Marine Time Charterparty for Drilling Support Warehouse barge (DSWB) and AHTS Vessels to support Tangguh Drilling Program.

BPMigas reported today, contractor is required to provide a vessel for the intended purpose, and sufficient capability and space to perform drilling support warehouse barge and anchor handling, towing and suplly vessels.

Provision of one dual classed vessel for storage of drilling materials required to support the Tangguh Exploration & Appraisal Drilling project with a clear deck area of minimum 1,700 m2 .

Provision of two TVAC approved (Towing Vessel Approvailbility Certificate) vessels each with a minimum continuous bollard pull rating of 80 tons for towing the DSWB and Jack-Up Drilling Rig, carriage of materials including bulk chemicals, water and diesel fuel to company's Jack-Up Drilling Rig and Drilling Support Warehouse Barge facility in Berau Bay, Papua on an “as required” basis.

Substitute vessels must be available for to ensure continual non stop service to the company. Contractor shall develop all the required operational procedures to support the above services and submit to the Charterer for review and approval. Previous experience of carrying out the above activities is required.
