Theindonesiatoday.com - Oil and gas services company PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) will seek US$50 million loan from banks next year for funding the capital expenditure (capex), Bisnis Indonesia reported this morning.

Suharyanto, ELSA's president director, said the company allocates capex of US$100 million for 2011, funded by bank loans and internal cash.

He said the company plans to invest US$100 million in the upstream oil and gas services business next year, of which US$54.95 million will be allocated for integrated oilfield service, US$35.65 million in geoscience service, and US$9.59 million in drilling service.

Suharyanto said the company has secured loan commitment from some banks such as PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), Bank Chinatrust, Bank Mizhuo, Rabobank and Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII).

Currently, ELSA has internal cash of Rp700 billion, he said. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
