Theindonesiatoday.com - Dropping substantially on Wednesday, the benchmark March contracts of crude palm oil bounced back to above RM3880 per ton on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange this morning.
March contracts were traded as low as RM3857 and as high as RM3894 per ton this morning. Yesterday the commodity dropped RM80 to RM3808 per ton.
Plantation stocks are mainly in negative territory in JAKARTA. Sampoerna Agro and Bakrie Sumatra Plantation decline 1.47% and 1.20%, while BW Plantation slashed 4.23%. Tunas Baru Lampung and Gozco also slip 1.09% and 1.15%. But Astra Agro and SMART bounced back 1.35% and 1.92%.
In SINGAPORE, plantation stocks are mainly in positive territory with Wilmar and GoldenAgri gained 1.62% and 1.25% respectively. First Resources and Kencana Agri are also in positive zone, while IndoAgri slips 0.34%. In KUALA LUMPUR, Sime Darby and Kulim gained 0.11% and 1.21%, but KL Kepong down slightliy 0.09%.
