Theindonesiatoday.com - The benchmark March contracts of crude palm oil retreat to RM3830 per ton on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange this morning. Plantation stocks are mixed in the region.

The commodity was traded as low as RM3806 per ton on profit taking after closing at its new high at RM3852 per ton yesterday. April and May contracts also retreated to RM3808 and RM3787 per ton respectively.

Plantation stocks, meanwhile, mainly advanced with Sime Darby and IOI Corporation gain 5.36% and 3.95% in KLSE, while IndoAgri inches up 0.69% on SGX. In JAKARTA, Bakrie Sumatra Plantation leads the gainers with 5% gain, followed by Sampoerna Agro, BW Plantation, and Tunas Baru Lampung.

Those in the negative territory are Kulim (-2.31%), First Resources (-1.28%), and Wilmar (-0.18%). Astra Agro inches up 0.69%. (Theindonesiatoday.com)
