JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - Plantation company PT Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (JAWA) plans to seek loan of up to Rp1 trillion for funding investment within next 4 years, Kontan.co.id reported.

Bambang S Ibrahim, JAWA's finance director, said the company also allocates Rp500 billion from IPO proceeds to support investment in 4 years which total Rp1.5 trillion.

He said the company is now considering 3 funding options, bank loan, bond issuance and the combined of them. The bond, Bambang said, might be scheduled for the end of this year.

The company allocates capital expenditure (capex) of Rp490 billion, to fund establishment of rubber and palm oil plants. Both plants are now under construction. Rubber plant is expected to commence operation in the third quarter of this year while palm oil plant is scheduled to operate next year.

JA Wattie booked net profit of Rp152.44 billion in the first 9 months of 2011, surged 176% from Rp55.27 billion in the same period of 2010. Net sales jumped 68% to Rp502.25 trillion in the period, compared to Rp298.37 billion a previous year.

JAWA is currently priced at Rp405 per share. At this price, it has market capitalization of Rp1.53 trillion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
