Theindonesiatoday.com - CPO producers PT Tunas Baru Lampung Tbk (TBLA) had in December 19, 2011 signed contract with Sutech Engineering Co Ltd for the engineering, procurement and consulting for sugar refinery plant.

The plant will have capacity of 600 tons of refined sugar per day, located in Way Lunik Lampung, Sumatera.

The construction of refined sugar mill, by TBLA's subsidiary PT Adi Karya Gemilang, will cost Rp511.43 billion, funded by bank loan (65%) and the internal cash (35%).

The construction of sugar mill is expected to run for one year, to commence operation by end 2012.

Sudarmo Tasmin, vice president director of TBLA, early said the company was seeking Rp325 billion loan from banks for funding the establishment of its refined sugar mill.

He expects to get loan by end of this year as the company plans to start construction of refined sugar mill early next year and target to commence operation in 2013. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
