Theindonesiatoday.com - Plantation company PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO) posted net profit of Rp468.63 billion in first 9 months of 2011, surged 86% from Rp252.01 billion in the same period of last year.
It recorded earning per share (EPS) of Rp245, compared to Rp132 a previous year.
Sales jumped 84% to Rp2.51 trillion for the period from Rp1.37 trillion a year earlier while cost of good sold also soared 81% to Rp1.6 trillion from previous Rp885.35 billion.
Gross profit was Rp914.28 billion while operating profit reached Rp642.24 billion, a 78% rise compared to Rp360.37 billion in first 9 months of 2010.
