Health Minister Endang Rahayu Passes Away

Julian Ford, who is also SUM’s CEO since May 2011, resigned as SUM’s Managing Director. He has held senior positions within several major resource companies including Alcoa, British Gas London and Western Metals Ltd and Zambezi Resources Ltd.
Michael Price has been a Non-Executive Director of SUM since July 2007.
Meanwhile, explorations on its projects are ongoing. The preparation of Environmental Management Plan (AMDAL) for its Tembang project was completed and has been presented to the Department of Mines in the Musi Rawas Regency in January 2012. Submission for the AMDAL has been scheduled for March 2012.
Stage 1 Pre Feasibility Report for the Tembang project is scheduled for completion by February 2012.
Meanwhile, following significant new gold discover at the Lusang North Prospect, Tandai Exploration Project, Bengkulu, SUM has focused diamond drilling on the prospect.
