Theindonesiatoday.com - Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named three suspects in the corruption case at Ministry of Health. Two of the suspects are officers from the ministry, while the other one is  business partner in the ministry's project.

“There three (suspects), related to the procurement of education tools for doctors and specialists in 2010,” said Noor Rachmad, AGO Legal Information Head, as quoted by Kompas.

The first suspect is Widianto Aim, Head of the Board of Human Resource Development and Empowerment (BPPSDMK) Program and Information Secretariat. According to Noor, Widianto's role in the case is in setting the so-called owner estimates for the procurement.

Syamsul Bahri, Head of BPPSDMK Budget and Program, is the new suspect for his involvement in the  case. The last suspect is Bantu Marpaung, President Director of PT Buana Ramosari Gemilang, for his role as partner in the project.

Noor also said that until now the suspects yet to be arrested, and they will be charged with article 2 and 3 of Corruption Law No 31/2002. (indra@theindonesiatoday.com)
