JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - Concert organizer PT Prima Jaya Kreasi, well known as Big Daddy Production, reschedules its IPO to the first half of this year, after failed to launch by end of 2011, Bisnis Indonesia reported this morning.
Hanny Marpaung, corporate secretary of Prima Jaya Kreasi, said the company is still in negotiation with some strategic investors. She said two foreign investors are interested to invest in the company.
"We might launch IPO in the first quarter of this year, but it would likely be realized in the first half," she said, noting after dealing with strategic investors, the company will appoint underwriters for the IPO.
Hanny said the company had before assigned PT Minna Padi Investama Tbk to act as underwriter but it had resigned for undisclosed reasons.
Michael Rusli, president director of Prima Jaya Kreasi, said the company will appoints 2 securities firms to act as underwriters for the IPO.
Prima Jaya targets to rais proceeds of Rp300 billion through IPO, to be used for financing concert activity, education and investment in infrastructure.
As of July 2011, the company booked revenue of Rp24 billion, jumped 336% from December 2010. It booked net profit of Rp5.4 billion in the first half of 2011. ((hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
