JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional (IMAS) Tbk has boosted direct ownership in PT Central Sole Agency (CSA) from 62.86% to 85.5%.
Indomobil and other shareholders agreed to raise issued and paid-up capital of CSA from Rp127.3 billion to Rp327.3 billion.
Ownership of PT Wahana Inti Central Mobilindo (WICM) and PT IMG Sejahtera Langgeng (IMGSL), meanwhile, dropped to 10.9% and 3.5% respectively from 28% and 9%.
Indomobil initially controlled CSA through WICM (where Indomobil owned 83.81% shares), IMGSL (99% owned by Indomobil), and directly 62.86%.
Indomobil argued increasing direct ownership in CSA will boost the company's consolidated profitability.
Indomobil shares closed higher by 3.45% to Rp15,000 Friday (Jan 27) or a 139% gain from early last year. (Indonesia Today)
