Jero Wacik, energy and mineral resources minister, said he can't let Evita go this time around, because of her performance and that the ministry needs her to stay for another year.
Born November 3rd, 1951, Evita should have entered her mandatory retirement age this year. She has been in the job since 2008 to replace Luluk Sumiarso.
Evita was expert staff for then energy and mineral resources minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro. Graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 1974, Evita earned her PhD in petroleum chemistry from Germany in 1991. (Theindonesiatoday.com)
