Theindonesiatoday.com - PT Anugrah Karya Raya, a subsidiary of PT AKR Corporindo, participates in PT Jabal Nor, which will build and operate coal hauling road and port in Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan.
Anugrah Karya Raya plans to invest Rp24.28 billion in PT Jabal Nor. Partners in the project are Lukman Purnomosidi, Nor Ayadi, and PT Daya Kalimantan Baru.
AKR Corporindo told stock market authorities MOnday (Dec 10) that PT Anugrah Karya Raya will gradually acquire shares in PT Jabal Nor, and that the Rp24.28 billion is the first phase of such investment.
AKR Corporindo is chemical and fuel distributor, which also expands into coal mining business. This company posted net profit of Rp2.13 trillion in nine months to September 2011, jumped sevenfold (724%) from Rp258.15 billion in the same period of last year.
It recorded earning per share (EPS) of Rp558.19 per share, compared to Rp61.10 a previous year.The company booked gain of Rp1.77 trillion from the divestment of subsidiary PT Sorini.
Revenue surged 68.5% to Rp14.38 trillion from Rp8.54 trillion a year earlier while cost of good sold and cost of revenue also increased 73% to Rp13.63 trillion from previous Rp7.86 trillion.
Gross profit was Rp756.88 billion while operating profit reached Rp465.71 billion, a 45% rise compared to Rp320.25 billion in nine months to September 2010.
As of September 2011, its assets totaled Rp8.11 trillion while liability amounted Rp4.74 trillion. (Theindonesiatoday.com)
