JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - PT Radiant Utama Interinsco Tbk (RUIS) plans to acquire one mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) this year for a total value of US$35 million, Investor Daily reported this morning.
Mohamad Hamid, RUIS' finance director, said the company is now conducting due diligence on MOPU. "We target to acquire one MOPU this year, even we are now studying some of the facilities," he said.
The company, Mohamad said, will use internal cash and external loan to finance the acquisition. The external loan or bank loan is targeted to obtain in the second quarter of this year, he added.
Mohamad said Radiant targets new contracts of Rp1.2 trillion for this year, excluding the contribution from acquisition of MOPU which is expected for around Rp300 billion.
Radiant, he added, estimates to book revenue of Rp1.15 trillion in 2011, grew 10% from Rp1.048 trillion in 2010.
For this year, the company targets to book revenue of Rp1.23 trillion and net profit of Rp42 billion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
