Indolakto Holds Topping Off Ceremony for New Plant

JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - Dairy industries manufacturer PT Indolakto, part of Indofood Nutrition (Indofood Group), held topping off ceremony for its new plant in Purwosari, Pasuruan, East Java.

The construction of the plant has started since May 2011, with first phase construction is targeted to conclude in the fourth quarter of this year while the completion of overall construction is scheduled for the second quarter of 2013.

The investment cost for the plant built on 11 hectares land area reaches around US$130 million.

Indolakto has four plants, based in Jakarta, Sukabumi (West Java) and Pandaan (East Java). These plants produce various dairy products such as sweetened condensed milk, ultra high temperatur milk and sterilized milk put on bottle.

Indolakto is indirectly owned by PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) with 68.57% ownership. The main brand product of Indolakto include Indomilk, Cap Enaak, Tiga Sapi, Kremer, Orchid Butter, Indoeskrim and Nice Yogurt. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
