JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (TOTO) and PT Surya Pertiwi, sole marketing agent of Surya Toto, set up new property unit PT Surya Graha Pertiwi.
The company said the establishment of new unit aims to buy, develop, manage and maintain new building. The company said the increasing sales of both companies - Surya Toto and Surya Pertiwi - while their offices and showrooms can not be expanded.
The establishment of Surya Graha, it said, had been approved by the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and is now waiting the ratification from the Ministry of Human Rights and Law.
Surya Toto booked net profit of Rp192.44 billion in first nine months of 2011, grew 27.6% from Rp150.83 billion in the same period of last year.
Revenue increased 22% to Rp991.33 billion for the period, compared to Rp812.43 billion a previous year.
As of September 2011, its assets totaled Rp1.27 trillion while liability amounted Rp486.28 billion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
