Theindonesiatoday.com - Milk producer PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry (ULTJ) Tbk estimates its net profit would surge 82% to Rp192 billion next year on higher sales and margins.
According to presentation material to investors, Ultrajaya predicted its net profit would reach Rp111 billion this year, inched up from last year's Rp107 billion. Sales revenue is predicted to grow 16% to Rp2.4 trillion next year.
The company believes milk consumption in Indonesia would steadily grow as per capital consumption is still relatively small at 10 liters per annum.
Ultrajaya posted net profit of Rp108 billion in first 9 months of 2011, grew 12.7% from Rp96 billion in the same period of last year. It recorded earning per share (EPS) of Rp37, compared to Rp33 a previous year.
Revenues increased 7.8% to Rp1.51 trillion from Rp1.41 trillion a year earlier. Gross profit was Rp447 billion while operating profit rose 10.9% to Rp173 billion from Rp156 billion in first 9 months of 2010.
As of September 2011, its assets totaled Rp2.05 trillion while liability amounted Rp644 billion. Debt to equity ratio (DER) was 45.7%. (Theindonesiatoday.com)
