Theindonesiatoday.com - Global Palm booked net profit of Rp89 billion last year, dropped 39% from 2009 on lower sales revenuee.
Global Palm reported sales revenue of Rp287 billion last year, declined 5% from 2009. The company reported strong revenue growth of 20% in Q4/10, while gross profit surged 71% and EBITDA soared 52% in the period.
"The decline in the group’s topline in FY2010 was largely due to the biological stress on its oil palms which affected its CPO volume sales," Global Palm said this morning.
On a full year basis, the Group’s FFB yield was 14.67 tons per ha in FY2010 as compared to 17.54 tons per ha in FY2009, while CPO and palm kernel extraction rates was maintained at 21.1% and 3.9% respectively, compared to 21.5% and 4.0 % in FY2009.
Global Palm sold 38,092 tons of CPO last year, dropped 20% from 2009, while PKO fell 23% to 6878 tons. Average selling price of CPO was Rp6913 Per Kg, 17% higher than 2009, while PKO soared 60% to Rp3472 per Kg. (ferdi@theindonesiatoday.com)
