Theindonesiatoday.com - PT CIMB Niaga Tbk, the fifth-largest bank in Indonesia, downsized its rights issue to 1.19 billion shares and raised rights issue price to Rp1,250 per share, to target proceeds of Rp1.49 trillion.
The bank had in November 15, 2010 announced on prospectus to issue 1.4 billion new shares, or 5% of the enlarged capital, at a price of Rp1,065 per share, or Rp1.49 trillion in total.
It said in a prospectus published today that each 20 old shares last recorded in December 28, 2010 will be entitled to buy one pre-emptive right. The existing will potentially face a dilution of up to 4.76% if they failed to exercise their rights.
The listing of rights is scheduled for December 30, 2010 while trading is scheduled for December 30, 2010 to January 7, 2011.
The bank said the rights issue proceeds will be fully used for funding loan expansion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
