Theindonesiatoday.com - Poultry feed producer PT Sierad Produce Tbk (SIPD) posted net profit of Rp48.9 billion in nine months to September of 2010, grew 58% from Rp31.06 billion in the corresponding period of last year.
It recorded net earning per share (EPS) of 5.22, compared to Rp3.31 a previous year.
The company said revenue rose 13% to Rp2.73 trillion from Rp2.42 trillion a year earlier. Cost of good sold also increased to Rp2.48 trillion, then it booked gross profit of Rp248 billion.
As operating expenses reached Rp136.9 billion, the company booked operating profit of Rp111 billion. It also recorded other expenses of Rp35.1 trillion, of which financial expenses accounted for Rp29.66 billion.
As of September 2010, Sierad Produce's assets totaled Rp1.96 trillion while liability amounted Rp736.7 billion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
