PT Molindo Raya Industrial has decided to postpone its initial public offering (IPO), set for early July, as investors want lower price than what Molindo wishes.

Detik.com quoted a source close to the deal said that investors want the IPO price at Rp450 per share, while Molindo was expecting IPO price at Rp550 per unit.

President Director of PT Mandiri Sekuritas, Harry Supoyo, confirmed the disagreement over share price. “There was no agreement on (IPO) price, after conducting book-building process,” said Harry.

The company and the underwriters have conducted road-show from June 14 to June 18 in SINGAPORE and Hong Kong.

Molindo has planned to sell 650 million shares, or equal to 30.29 percent, through IPO early next month. It expects the IPO price to be between Rp450 and Rp750 per share.

It has earlier set the offered date on June 29-July 2, 2010, and followed by listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchange on July 7.

Molindo Raya was established in 1973. In 1979, it acquired MMI, also an ethanol producer. Since 1997. Since 1997, the group’s business grew significantly. The company’s structure also changed, in which Molindo focuses on ethanol production, while MMI became holding company, focusing on molasses trade.
