State-utility company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) had set coupon for its Rp3 trillion bond, comprising of conventional bonds worth Rp2.5 trillion and syariah bonds Rp500 billion.
It said in a prospectus published on Thursday that series A bond worth Rp 645 billion, which will have tenor of five years, will carry coupon rate of 9.7 percent. While series B bonds worth Rp 1.855 trillion with a 12 years tenor and will mature on July 8, 2022 carries coupon rate of 10.4 percent.
Syariah bonds also consists of two series; series A worth Rp 160 billion with five years tenor and series B worth Rp 340 billion with 12 years tenor.
The offered date has been set for July 2-5 and followed by listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchagne on July 9.
The company has appointed PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas and PT Trimegah Securities Tbk as underwriters of the bonds.
The company said the proceeds of the bonds will be used to build power grids.
As of end 2009, PLN has liabilities of Rp192.52 trillion. Of this, Rp154.81 trillion are non-current liabilities, while the remaining Rp37.71 trillion are current liabilities. Its equities stood at Rp136.41 trillion, compared to Rp126.99 trillion in previous year.
