JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed morning trade down 1.89% at 3,911.11, following the negative sentiment in regional markets.
Investors were ignoring reports of an almost clinched Greece debt settlement, but concerning on the US Economic data which grew 2.8% in the fourth quarter, below consensus of 3%.
In regional, KOSPI led by falling 1.33%, BSE dropped 0.83%, Straits Times lost 0.65%, Nikkei shed 0.64%, Hang Seng down 0.49%, Shanghai fell 0.37% and All Ordinaries slipped 0.23%.
In Jakarta bourse, Delta Dunia lost 4.29%, Adhi Karya dropped 4.23%, Bakrie Telecom fell 3.92%, Bank Mandiri corrected 2.92%, Semen Gresik down 2.65%, JA Wattie shed 2.5%, Astra Agro lost 2.32%, Aneka Tambang declined 1.59%, and Adaro Energy fell 1.08%.
Crude oil declined 0.56% to US$99 per barrel in Asia trading. The Rupiah weakened to Rp8,985 against the US Dollar. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
