Theindonesiatoday.com - PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MLBI), the leading beer manufacturer in Indonesia, posted net profit of Rp296 billion in the first nine months of 2011, inched up 1.4% from Rp292 billion in the same period of last year.
It recorded earning per share (EPS) of Rp14,063, compared to Rp13,874 a previous year.
Revenue declined 1.5% to Rp1.22 trillion from Rp1.24 trillion a year earlier.
Gross profit fell 10.6% to Rp651 billion from previous Rp728 billion while operating profit increased 3.7% to Rp402 billion from Rp387 billion in first 9 months of 2010.
As of September 2011, its assets totaled Rp976 billion while liability amounted Rp657 billion. Debt to equity ratio (DER) was 205.8%.
MLBI share is currently priced at Rp330,050 per share. At this price, it has market capitalization of Rp6.95 trillion. (teguh@theindonesiatoday.com)
