JAKARTA, Indonesia Today - PT Bukit Makmur Widya, a company controlled by Johan Lensa---former shareholder of mining contractor BUMA, has sold 600 million shares of property company PT Modernland Realty Tbk.
Bukit Makmur sold the shares, which represent 9.57% of total issued shares of Modernland, at Rp250 per share or about Rp150 billion to PT Modern Griya Reksa.
Modernland shares closed higher by 1.59% to Rp320 on Friday (January 27).
The company recorded revenue of Rp325 billion in first 9 months of 2011, doubled from Rp163 billion in the same period of 2010. Gross profit surged 146.6% to Rp177 billion while operating profit soared 140% to Rp95 billion.
It booked net profit of Rp53 billion and earning per share (EPS) of Rp17. As of September 2011, its assets totaled Rp2.35 trillion while liability amounted Rp1.17 trillion. Debt to equity ratio was 99.4%. (Indonesia Today)
