Theindonesiatoday.com - Accumulated losses amounting to Rp656 billion has raised substantial doubt about Wicaksana Overseas (WICO)'s ability to continue as going concerns.
As of September 30, 2011, the company has suffered recurring losses from their operation, which have caused consolidated accumulated losses amounting to Rp656 billion. The company had net equity of Rp76 billion and assets of Rp189.8 billion as of September 30, 2011.
To address the above situation, WICO seeks opportunity of new business relationship from new products or new distribution areas with existing or new principals, consolidates distribution area, and improve capital structure.
Wicaksana booked net profit of Rp1.67 billion in nine months of 2011, improved from net loss of Rp6.44 billion in the corresponding period last year. The company's sales revenue dropped 10% to RP303.98 billion in the period, while its gross profit declined 16.7% to Rp30.14 billion. (Theindonesiatoday.com)
