Theindonesiatoday.com - PT Federal International Finance (FIF), a subsidiary of Astra International, has secured syndicated loan worth US$250 million or equivalent Rp2.1 trillion from 11 banks, Investor Daily reported this morning.
Suhartono, FIF's president director, said the loan is facilitated by Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd, SINGAPORE branch, and had been signed in Singapore in July 5, 2011.
The loan has tenor of 3 years. Of 11 banks, 5 are local banks and 6 are foreign banks. Those local banks are ANZ Panin Bank, The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ JAKARTA branch, Bank Mandiri Singapore branch, Bank Chinatrust Indonesia and JP Morgan Chase Bank Jakarta branch.
While foreign banks are Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd Singapore branch, Overseas-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd (OCBC), Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMCB) Singapore branch, United Bank Ltd (UOB), Chinatrust Commercial Bank Co Ltd and The Bank of East Asia Ltd Singapore branch.
Suhartono said the loan will be used for supporting its motorcycle financing. In the first half of 2011, FIF booked financing of Rp9.1 trillion, grew 20% compared to the same period of 2010.
