Theindonesiatoday.com - Consumer financing company PT Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOMF) plans to issue bonds worth Rp1 trillion, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Wednesday.
Fenfira Tedja, WOMF's corporate secretary, said the company will seek approval from shareholders for bond issue in the extraordinary general meeting scheduled for 8 November 2010, including approval for guaranting the company's assets for loans.
The company had in July 2010 said it was seeking bank' loans worth up to Rp1 trillion to fund its new financing activities in the second half.
It had issued medium term notes (MTN) worth Rp350 billion to PT OCBC NISP Tbk. Some other banks which will support WOM's new financing include Bank Mandiri, Bank Mega, Bank Panin, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank and Commonwealth Bank.
